Introduction to project

 In studio IV interior design class we are working on the mixed-use community based/noon-profit project. For this mixed use project I chose four place types which include: Hair salon with non-profit twist, non-profit restaurant, nonprofit art gallery and live/work space for artist.

The aim of the project is to combine different kinds of facilities with different user groups in order to create dynamic community environment.
The combination of the hair salon, restaurant and live/work space will make the mixed-use facility active during various time of the day which will bring more security and sociable life to the neighborhood.
